About running.wales
Who writes running.wales, what the site covers, and how to get a correction made when a path, a car park or a river crossing has changed on the ground.
running.wales covers running in Wales: the mountains of Eryri, the long grassy ridges of Bannau Brycheiniog, the coast paths, and the unglamorous but excellent hill ground in between. The aim is guidance you can act on - where to start, what the ground is like underfoot, what the weather does to it, and what happens when it goes wrong.

Getting in touch
If something on this site is wrong - a path that no longer exists, a car park that has closed, a river crossing that is no longer sensible - please say so. Corrections from people who were there are the most valuable thing this site receives.
When a page is corrected the change is made in place and the "updated" date on the page moves, so you can always see how current a route description is.
A note on safety
Nothing here replaces a map, a compass and the ability to use them. Welsh mountain weather changes faster than any article can, and route descriptions age. Treat every page as a starting point for your own planning rather than a substitute for it.
